Saudi-based Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company said it has been awarded a contract worth SAR221 million ($56 million) for laying of an 184-km long sewer networks system in Hafar Al Batin and Al Qaisomah Governorate.

The scope of work includes the construction of manholes and inspection chambers and other sewer related construction works.

As part of Phase Four of the project, Alkhorayef will undertake the construction of extensive sewer networks with pipe diameters ranging from 200 mm to 700 mmmbers, along with all necessary connections to integrate with the existing sewer infrastructure, said Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies in its filing to Saudi bourse.

The entire project will be completed within a three-year period.
