Red Sea Global sets record with 10 LEED Platinum-certified resorts

Red Sea Global has become the world’s largest developer of LEED Platinum-certified hotels and resorts after five additional properties on Shura Island at The Red Sea destination earned the highest sustainability rating under the LEED v4 BD+C: Hospitality system.

The milestone brings the total to 10 certified resorts, covering 1,207 hotel keys across 236,405 square metres.

The newly certified resorts operate entirely on renewable energy and feature energy-efficient designs and low-impact materials.

Six more Shura Island resorts are also progressing toward LEED certification, reinforcing Red Sea Global’s commitment to regenerative tourism and sustainable development.
