SalamAir has added its 18th aircraft, an Airbus A320neo named "Salalah," to its fleet, marking a key milestone in the Omani low-cost carrier's expansion strategy.
The aircraft completed its inaugural commercial flight from
Muscat to Salalah, where it was welcomed with a reception ceremony attended by
government officials, aviation partners and media representatives.
The fleet expansion is designed to enhance air connectivity
across the Sultanate and support the growth of Oman’s tourism sector in line
with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, reinforcing SalamAir’s commitment to
expanding capacity and improving domestic and regional travel. -TradeArabia News Service
