Dubai is set to offer a packed calendar of summer experiences throughout August 2026, with residents and visitors able to enjoy citywide shopping promotions, culinary events, indoor sports activities and a diverse line-up of live entertainment.

The programme forms part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to provide year-round attractions despite the summer heat.

Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) continues until August 30, bringing exclusive retail offers, raffle draws, hotel deals, attraction packages and family-friendly activities across the city.

The event remains a major highlight of the summer calendar, encouraging visitors to explore Dubai’s shopping and leisure destinations.

Food lovers can take part in Summer Restaurant Week, running until August 2, featuring specially curated menus at more than 50 restaurants offering global cuisines.

The initiative allows diners to experience Dubai’s diverse culinary scene through affordable dining experiences.

Sports enthusiasts can stay active through a range of indoor events.

The Ibn Battuta Mall Indoor Run Series returns on August 2 with races for all fitness levels, while Dubai Sports World at Dubai World Trade Centre continues until August 25, offering facilities for football, basketball, cricket, tennis and other activities in an air-conditioned environment.

The Dubai Mallathon 2026 also transforms participating malls into indoor walking and running tracks until 15 September.

A major new addition is the Endurance Games at Hamdan Sports Complex on August 30, featuring multisport competitions including triathlon, duathlon, aquabike and aquathlon events.

Dubai’s entertainment calendar will also feature a wide range of concerts and comedy shows.

Beat The Heat DXB Season 5 will bring performances from artists including Rasha Rizk, Al Shami, Marwan Moussa, Hleem, Sultan Al Murshed, Talal Sam, Aziz Maraka, BigSam and Lege-cy.

Other major music events include A Night of Love and Tears featuring Ramy Gamal and Wael Jassar, Thaalam Beats with Benny Dayal, Usha Uthup and Thaikkudam Bridge, and Lucky Ali Live at Coca-Cola Arena.
