The World Governments Summit Organisation (WGSO) and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) have launched a strategic partnership to strengthen global cooperation on the future of travel and tourism.

The agreement aims to deepen dialogue between governments and the private sector, support forward-looking policymaking and promote sustainable growth across the international tourism sector.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Mohammad Al Sharhan, Managing Director of the World Governments Summit Organisation, and Gloria Guevara, President and CEO of WTTC, the two organisations will establish a framework for institutional cooperation.

The partnership will facilitate the exchange of knowledge, expertise and international best practices, while supporting joint initiatives, research, studies and projects focused on the sector’s key challenges and opportunities.
