Benefit, Aman join forces on financial crime compliance in Bahrain

Benefit, a leading fintech and electronic financial transactions service company in Bahrain and key innovator, has signed a service agreement with AMAN, Bahrain's premier compliance platform, to adopt its platform in support of the company’s compliance, due diligence and financial crime prevention activities.

The agreement establishes the framework for Benefit’s use of AMAN’s platform, powered by global financial crime management leader Themis, to manage and oversee its anti-money laundering, compliance and financial crime risk-related activities.

The platform brings together onboarding, due diligence, screening and risk assessment processes within a unified environment, providing greater visibility over cases and assessments while enabling more efficient decision-making and enhance the accuracy, consistency and efficiency of regulatory and compliance operations.

The deal was signed by Abdulwahed AlJanahi, Chief Executive of Benefit, and Dickon Johnstone, Group Chief Executive Officer of AMAN at Benefit’s headquarters, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from both organizations.

Speaking on the occasion, AlJanahi said this agreement with AMAN forms part of Benefit's continued efforts to strengthen the tools and systems that support its commitment to the highest standards of governance and compliance.

"As financial crime risks continue to evolve, organizations require more sophisticated solutions that can bring information together, analyze it effectively and support timely oversight," he stated.

"This collaboration responds to the growing need for integrated technology capable of managing data, assessments and regulatory processes within a single framework. It will streamline key onboarding and due diligence activities and improve the operational efficiency while preserving the rigor required in regulatory review and risk evaluation," added AlJanahi.

Johnstone said: “We are proud to partner with Benefit. AMAN’s mission is to strengthen Bahrain’s financial ecosystem and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a safe, trusted international financial centre. Benefit plays a vital role in that ecosystem, making it a natural partner for AMAN."

"Together, we will enhance financial crime capabilities and support Bahrain’s continued alignment with local and international standards," stated the top official.

"This partnership reflects our commitment to delivering practical and sustainable solutions that help financial institutions strengthen governance, oversight and organizational readiness. It also supports Bahrain’s position as an advanced financial hub that continues to adopt leading practices in compliance, risk management and financial crime prevention," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
