Leading industry executives from the bitumen, base oil, lubricants, refining, shipping and logistics sectors will converge in Muscat for the seventh edition of AMEA Oman 2026 expo, a major industry event that places key issues linked to regional trade and supply-chain connectivity at the centre of discussions around one of the world's key energy corridors.

Oman's strategic location near the Strait of Hormuz and its expanding role in shipping, logistics and energy infrastructure, have increased its importance as a link between regional and international markets, said the event organisers Petrosil.

The AMEA Bitumen, Base Oil and Logistics Convention and Exhibition will bring together companies and industry executives from across Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The one-day event in Oman is expected to attract producers, refiners, traders, distributors, shipping companies, logistics providers, terminal operators and other participants in the downstream petroleum sector.

According to Petrosil, the event will focus on commercial and networking opportunities across bitumen, base oils, lubricants, additives, waxes, shipping and logistics, as well as developments affecting regional supply chains and downstream markets.

The event will cover a range of products and services across the downstream value chain, including:

*Bitumen and asphalt: penetration-grade bitumen, polymer-modified bitumen, cutbacks, emulsions and road and infrastructure binders.

*Base oils: Group I, II, III and III+ base oils, as well as paraffinic and naphthenic feedstocks.

*Lubricants: automotive, industrial and marine lubricants, greases, specialty products and high-performance formulations and

*Additives: performance additives, viscosity modifiers, anti-wear products and lubricant additive packages.

The AMEA Oman 2026 comes following previous editions held in Dubai, Bangkok and Mumbai.-TradeArabia News Service
