Global Village will return for Season 31 on Wednesday, October 14, at 6pm, bringing new attractions, cultural experiences, dining concepts and entertainment to one of the region’s leading multicultural destinations.
This season will feature 29 pavilions representing more than
90 cultures, alongside refreshed experiences at the Sri Lanka, Russia and
Azerbaijan pavilions.
The Syria and Kuwait pavilions will also debut renewed
façades. Visitors can explore more than 3,500 shopping outlets offering
products, traditions and flavours from around the world.
A newly designed Season 31 Passport and a dedicated Kids
Passport will allow visitors to collect stamps from every pavilion, creating an
interactive journey across cultures and a keepsake of their visits.
Popular attractions are also receiving upgrades. Gardens of
the World returns with a refreshed design, while the Cultural Gate will feature
new LED lighting.
The tunnel from Sharjah to Global Village will also receive
a new theme, extending the visitor experience before guests reach the entrance.
Food lovers can choose from more than 250 dining options.
New additions include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, while Restaurant Plaza
welcomes Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking.
Three new cafés, Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol
Café, will also join the destination. Dessert District has received a refreshed
façade.
More than 200 attractions will be available across the
destination, including arcade games, family entertainment and thrill rides.
The Festival Wheel carts at Carnaval have been given a new
look, while the new Tokyo Rush roller coaster will launch later in the season,
featuring high-speed turns and a loop.
Returning attractions include The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror
Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City.
Entertainment will remain a major highlight, with 40,000
shows planned throughout the season.
New productions include Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes
Back, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. Popular shows such as Slam will return,
alongside Kids Theatre appearances by Care Bears and PJ Masks.
Operational improvements include VIP Parking Self-Payment
vending machines, additional Family POD Washrooms, improved parking signage and
expanded Happiness Gate ticket counters.
New bilingual Gate of the World signage and a WhatsApp
Chatbot will further improve navigation and guest support.
Global Village will operate from 4pm to midnight Sunday to
Wednesday and until 1am Thursday to Saturday and public holidays. -TradeArabia News Service
