Enowa completes energisation of primary substation at Oxagon

Enowa, the energy, water and hydrogen subsidiary of mega Saudi futuristic city NEOM, said it has completed the energisation of the Primary Substation South-B (PSS-B), thus marking another major step in expanding Oxagon’s advanced power infrastructure.

This comes following the successful operation of BSP South earlier this year, said Enowa in its LinkedIn post.

The PSS-B substation adds 500 MVA of installed capacity, bringing the combined capacity of PSS-A and PSS-B to 1,000 MVA at 33 kV supply voltage and providing a strong foundation for Oxagon’s long-term industrial growth, it stated.

Importantly, 300 MVA of firm capacity at 33 kV is available now, enabling rapid, reliable connections for new customers, it added.

"This gives hyperscale data centres, AI infrastructure, advanced manufacturers and other high-growth industries access to both immediate power capacity and development-ready land,"  said a company spokesman.

"At Enowa, we’re not only building infrastructure in NEOM -we’re enabling growth. Oxagon is powered, ready and open for business," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
