8,000 expats benefit from Bahrain amnesty rule

MANAMA, December 28, 2015

More than 8,000 expatriates have so far benefited from the six-month general amnesty for workers staying illegally in Bahrain.

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) assistant under-secretary for exits, search and follow-up Brigadier Youssef bin Ahmed Al Ghatam urged embassies to advise expatriates to benefit from the amnesty which will expire on Thursday, according to a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
