Doctors ‘mindset change could reduce expenditure’

A change in the mindset of senior public health sector medics could reduce expenditure by 25 per cent, said a Health Ministry expert. Health Ministry senior adviser Mohammed Jassim, who heads the Patient First team at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), said medics’ reluctance to work as a team was incurring additional administrative costs, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
