DHL boosts ME-China trade

Dubai, June 19, 2007

DHL has announced a service enhancement to streamline shipping between the UAE and its fourth largest trading partner, China.

A leading global express and logistics company, DHL said the enhanced DHL UAE-China Service will help expedite shipments between both markets.

'It will offer streamlined service for UAE customers importing from the second largest economy in the world and the fastest growing trading partner with the UAE,' said DHL UAE general manager Janet Jweihan.

“DHL has streamlined its UAE-China trade lane service by enhancing its one-stop-shop expertise. With our centralised customer clearance at state-of the-art hubs, advanced technology inspection equipment, fast-track customs clearance systems and specially trained staff, we are helping our customers achieve more efficient shipping activities saving both time and money,” Janet added.

Representing a new way of looking at the rapidly changing needs of the Middle East and Asia’s shipping industry, DHL is developing its services to help customers better address the ever-changing needs of global commerce.

To that end, DHL has recently brought in Nick Lim as the new China Trade Lane Manager. TradeArabia News Service
