Jumbo Electronics, a leading consumer electronics and technology retailer, last week teamed up with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the organisers of Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF), to create the ‘World’s largest display of 250 kg of gold’ in the shape of a DSF bag.

This unique public display of gold worth Dh35 million ($9.52 million) was open to all for viewing last weekend at the Jumbo store, Mall of the Emirates and drew large crowds that gathered to take a selfie with the tag ‘#Jumboisgold’.

The best picture uploaded to Instagram or Facebook saw one lucky winner walk away with a limted edition sold gold PlayStation 4, valued at Dh25,000 ($6805).-TradeArabia News Service
