Bahrain, Korea committed to strengthening tourism ties

Bahrain is looking to strengthen its ties with the Republic of Korea, especially in the tourism field, with the recent visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bahrain.

A meeting was held and was attended by the chief executive officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, and Koo Hyun-M, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Bahrain, along with other officials.

During the meeting, HE Shaikh Khalid welcomed the Korean Ambassador and discussed means to further reinforce bilateral relations; creating strong ties between both countries.

HE Shaikh Khalid also stressed on the important role played by the Republic of Korea on the global trade scene.

The Korean Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and affirmed his commitment to enhance relations between both countries in the tourism field and further explore other bilateral initiatives. - TradeArabia News Service
