Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has agreed to acquire Aluminium Dunkerque – the largest aluminium smelter in the European Union – in a deal worth $2.2 billion, a report in the Gulf Daily News said.
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world’s largest aluminium smelter at a single site, has entered into an agreement with a fund managed by American Industrial Partners (AIP), to acquire 100% of Aluminium Dunkerque, the European Union’s largest primary aluminium smelter.
