Alternative Energy Projects Company (AEP), a Kuwait-based renewable energy developer, has announced plans to raise capital to fund the expansion of its solar energy business across Kuwait and Mena region. It has appointed Kamco Invest, in collaboration with Burgan Bank, to lead the transaction.
Burgan Bank reported total revenues of KD138 million ($444.78 million) for the six-month period ended June 30, 2026 (H1’26), representing a 9% year-on-year increase, reflecting broad-based growth across its core revenue streams, supported by higher net interest income and stronger contributions from non-interest income activities.
Reinforcing its commitment to developing local talent and supporting Kuwait’s national workforce priorities, Burgan Bank has hired 200 new employees in 2025, with Kuwaitis representing 94.29% of all new joiners.
Burgan Bank has joined hands with Kamco Invest to host the third edition of their exclusive Investment Conference in Kuwait. This year’s conference brings together decision-makers, economists and industry experts to examine the forces redefining capital allocation and opportunity identification.
