Saudi Electricity Company has signed power purchase agreements worth SAR12.8 billion ($3.4 billion) for two large scale CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) power plants in Riyadh city with a combined production capacity of 3,356 MW.
Etihad Water and Electricity has announced that it is part of two consortiums that have been awarded the contracts to develop 2.6GW power plants in Oman. These plants, which will be using combined cycle gas turbine technology, will be set up at a total investment of RO1 billion ($2.6 billion).
Nama Power and Water Procurement signed power purchase agreements with a Nebras-led consortium and a KOWEPO-led consortium for the development of combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power generation projects in Misfah and Duqm respectively, with a total investment value of approximately RO 1 billion ($2.6 billion).
