An emergency GCC-EU Ministerial Meeting will be held tomorrow (March 5), reported SPA citing Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi. The meeting will bring together, the foreign ministers of the GCC states and the European Union (EU) member states.
Arada Foundation said it has expanded its emergency accommodation support for travellers stranded in the UAE due to flight cancellations, opening 150 rooms at Aljada in Sharjah - free of charge. The move comes after an initial allocation of 100 rooms at Nest Hotel was fully booked, prompting Arada to release another 50 rooms.
