DHL Express and LODD Autonomous have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start working together on how LODD’s unmanned Hili aircraft could be integrated into DHL’s express delivery network.
Emirates SkyCargo has signed an agreement with LODD Autonomous at the 2025 Dubai Airshow to explore the development and deployment of next-generation air cargo solutions. The duo will validate the use of VTOL aircraft across the airline’s vast global network.
LODD Autonomous has conducted the first test flight of Hili, a hybrid heavy-lift cargo aircraft designed, built and manufactured entirely in Abu Dhabi, during an event held at the company’s flight testing facility at Emirates Falcons Aviation in Al Ain Region, as part of Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week.
