Tadweer Group has announced a major milestone in the development of Abu Dhabi’s first greenfield Material Recovery Facility, awarding a contract to Urbaser, one of the world’s leading environmental solutions companies, to support the delivery of the landmark project.
Tadweer Group has broken ground on its new Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Abu Dhabi, being developed in partnership with environmental solutions company Urbaser. Set to begin operations in Q2 2028, the facility will combine AI and advanced sorting technologies to process 400,000 tonnes of waste per annum.
