Gulf Mercantile Exchange (GME) reported its highest-ever weekly trading volume, with over 69,052 contracts traded during the week of May 11, 2026, equivalent to 69 million barrels of Oman crude, marking a two-decade high.
TotalEnergies’ trading arm Totsa sold April-loading Oman crude via tender at a premium above $20/bbl to Dubai quotes, traders said. The tender offered up to 2 million barrels loading April 1–30 from Mina Al Fahal.
