Abu Dhabi-based TA’ZIZ has announced that its joint venture with Swiss-headquartered Proman, has achieved financial close on $2 billion financing for the UAE’s first world scale methanol plant in Al Ruwais Industrial City. The transaction was significantly oversubscribed, underscoring the strong global confidence in its strategy.
Ta’ziz and Alpha Dhabi Holding announced at the Make it in the Emirates platform, a strategic collaboration agreement for ~$10 billion in capital investment in new industrial chemicals in the Ta’ziz industrial chemicals ecosystem in Al Ruwais Industrial City.
TA’ZIZ signed $28.5 billion in long-term offtake, feedstock and sales agreements at Make it in the Emirates, covering methanol, PVC, EDC, VCM and other chemicals. Adnoc Gas will supply natural gas under a 25-year deal worth over $5 billion.
The UAE-based TA’ZIZ, a joint venture between ADNOC and ADQ, has signed long-term agreements spanning offtake, feedstock and sales across its chemicals portfolio valued at $28.5 billion (AED104.6 billion).
TA’ZIZ announced the signing of two product sale agreement term sheets with The Sanmar Group, a leading global producer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and specialty chemicals, for the supply of key petrochemical feedstocks.
TA’ZIZ has announced the award of a $1.99 billion Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract to China National Chemical Engineering & Construction Corporation Seven (CC7), to build the UAE’s first, and among the top three largest integrated single-site polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production complexes in the world.
Adnoc Logistics & Services (Adnoc L&S) and TA’ZIZ announced a 50-year agreement to establish a dedicated chemicals port at the TA’ZIZ Industrial Chemicals Zone in Al Ruwais. Adnoc L&S will build, own and operate the port, while TA’ZIZ will leverage the facility to efficiently export chemicals and their derivatives.
Adnoc and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa), announced the signing of a 27-year utilities purchase agreement to supply critical utilities to the Ta’ziz Industrial Chemicals Zone in Ruwais Industrial City, Abu Dhabi.
