The UAE’s hospitality sector ended 2025 on a high note delivering outstanding results, buoyed by strong tourism inflows across all major markets, said an industry expert. Dubai welcomed 17.5 million international visitors in the first 11 months, while Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah also recorded year‑on‑year growth in visitation.
Dubai has approved a masterplan to redevelop Umm Suqeim Beach into a landmark destination reflecting the emirate’s cultural identity. The scope of work includes the construction of six main gateways, 10 mobility hubs and 11 taxi pickup and drop-off points as well as a 38m observation tower.
The UAE’s tourism sector continued its strong upward trajectory in 2025, consolidating its position as one of the country’s most dynamic economic sectors, contributing AED257 billion ($70 billion) to GDP and setting new visitor records for the year, said a report.
