Mallya will not sell 'family silver' for Kingfisher

  Indian liquor baron Vijay Mallya does not have to do a deal with UK drinks giant Diageo and will not sell prized assets to rescue his grounded Kingfisher airline, he told Reuters at the weekend.  


Kingfisher to cancel 31 flights

India's No.2 carrier Kingfisher Airlines, controlled by liquor baron Vijay Mallya, plans to cancel 31 flights daily till November 19, including four international flights to Bangkok, the Mint newspaper reported, citing an unnamed airline official.
