Darkom, Business Soft ink deal

Amman, April 19, 2008

Darkom, Jordan’s first housing loan insurance company, has signed an agreement with Business Soft, a company specialised in applying management program ERP Solutions, in a move aimed at expanding its scope of operations.

Business Soft is the first to introduce Dynamics AX, which is developed by Microsoft, to the Jordanian market and to apply it after a comprehensive market study was made on the pros and cons offered by several similar systems.

The first phase of the joint project implemented by Darkom and Business Soft is to use the system on the financial, human resources and customer service systems applied at Darkom, said a top official.

"The new system is expected to contribute to the development of internal control as well as to increasing the effectiveness of the above-mentioned departments’ productivity and time management," said Darkom general manager Waseem Wael Zurub.

The system is also expected to increase fiscal revenue for the company by increasing the quality of service provided customer service division.

"This development will be reflected positively through the company’s speedy follow up with clients thus resulting in higher levels of productivity for all members of its sales team and a long term increase in revenues," Zurub noted.

The next phase of the project is expected to cover the development of all Darkom’s operational departments and more specifically, to create an effective internal communications system that links all company divisions productively.

“We are very proud to be signing this agreement with Business Soft and I am confident that our joint collaboration will serve to enhance the development of our company," Zurub said.

"We believe that our cooperation will be very fruitful and that it will serve to elevate the quality of our services and to increase our efficiency at work," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
