A regional conference titled "Finance Professionals - Partners in Nation Building" is being organised by the Bahrain Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI) on Wednesday and Thursday at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain, Hotel and Spa.

Under the patronage of Finance Ministry, the one-and-half-day event, starting at 5:30pm on Wednesday, is expected to witness the participation of more than 400 delegates, most of whom are senior decision-makers in business, government and society.

The event will also be streamed live on the Internet, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

The speakers include: Adviser to the Finance Minister of India Parthasarathi Shome, Doha Bank chief executive Dr R Seetharaman, Axis Bank chief executive Nilesh Shah and Key Point director Ranjith Kumar.
