Bahrain hails role of private sector

Bahrain's Premier has commended the pivotal role of the private sector as an essential partner and key pillar of government-led economic development.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa made his remarks as he received a Kanoo family delegation led by businessman Mubarak bin Jassim Kanoo, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
The Premier hailed the long-standing role of business families in supporting the government and spearheading trade activities.
He lauded the initiatives of the Kanoo family in support of the government's efforts to boost trade, commending their charity work and contribution to national development.
"The Kanoos is one of the families which will be engraved forever in the national collective memory for their trade and philanthropic activities," he said.
The Kanoos thanked the Prime Minister for visiting their company and Manama Suq and issuing directives to revitalise trade movement in the iconic market. - TradeArabia News Service
