Union Insurance Company, a leading provider of innovative customer-focused insurance products to individuals and organisations in the region, has launched the MaxMedical, a high-end international health insurance product, in the UAE.   

Designed in co-operation with BDAE Expat Consultancy and reinsured by Allianz, MaxMedical will combine comprehensive benefits with worldwide geographical coverage, extensive network of service providers and the highest aggregate limits, said a statement.

Abdul Muttaleb Al Jaedi, managing director and chief executive officer, said: “We are proud to be working closely with BDAE to introduce such an unprecedented health insurance scheme.

“Through MaxMedical, we will be able to further increase our penetration in the health insurance market in the UAE as well as continue to provide flexible, added-value innovative products.”

The new product comes with the first-of-its-kind dormant option that allows policyholders to make the policy inactive for as long as they need while they are insured with their employer, said the statement.

The customers can also choose to add a dental cover to MaxMedical to avail of MaxDent, it said.
