Barwa names corporate banking chief

DOHA, July 4, 2015

Barwa Bank, a Shari’ah compliant service provider in Qatar, has promoted Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Emadi as the new head of corporate banking.

Prior to joining Barwa in 2011, Al Emadi worked with HSBC. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration from the American University and over seven years of experience in corporate banking.

Since he joined Barwa, Al Emadi successfully established and led the bank’s Business Banking platform, demonstrating unique capabilities and competencies in adjusting to business challenges.

Group acting CEO Khalid Yousef Al-Subeai, said: “Sustainable human development is one of Barwa’s core priorities, aligning with our values and principles.
