Fakhruddin to build new Creek project

Dubai, January 16, 2008

Fakhruddin Properties plans to build a Dh250 million ($68 million) residential freehold development on Dubai Creek.

A ‘city within a city’, the Grand Lagoon project is located at Al-Sedaifa district, one of the seven interlinking islands set among a lush, green waterfront.

The Grand Lagoon is a 14-storey smart technology enabled building with panoramic views of the water.

Externally, the profile of the building compliments its exclusive position on a prominent corner, creating a striking impression from the street level outside. This is augmented by the sheer size of the lobby. The lower ‘deck’ level's sumptuous lobby and mezzanine floors are all huge in area, with the residential floors towering above.

The Grand Lagoon will have no problem in matching the opulence of any of its neighbours due to the facilities that will be on offer, said a statement. A covered sun deck and pool adorn the mezzanine level and face directly onto the creek. A steam room for the adults and a games room and play area for the kids have been designed to enhance the lifestyle aspect of the project and even boasts private squash courts.

The residences make great use of natural light to create space and enhance the home. Residences all come with smart home technology and with CCTV and 24-hour security as standard, said the statement.

Fakhruddin Properties' CEO commented: ‘Grand Lagoon is another unique Fakhruddin development which is being developed in tandem with EON Circuit. Upon completion, this development is going to be quite impressive, meeting the market demand for exclusive luxurious projects. We fully expect interest in Grand Lagoon to be as high as it is in all our other developments,’ he added. – TradeArabia News Service
