Taameer Jordan Holdings (TJH) has launched sales for Ahl Al Azm city.

This much awaited step is taking place following the completion of all preparatory work needed in order to launch sales and is taking place at the Jordan third Property Link 2008 Expo being held at the Zara Exhibition centre.

The four-day event is set to conclude today (May 15).
 
Implemented in collaboration with the Jordanian Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDC), Ahl Al Azim city is considered one of a kind development in Jordan offering affordable accommodation to professionals and families of middle income.

Ahl Al Azm city (which translates to the “City of Will”) is scheduled for completion by the end of the year 2010. The first phase of this project will be developed over an area of three million sq mt..

It will include around 16,000 apartments and villas. TJH has begun construction on the first phase of this project with the apartments and villas adhering to eight different floor plans. These plans encompass apartments that are between 80 and 180 sq mt in area and villas of 307 and 311 sq mt.

“By choosing the Ahl Al Azim city as their new place of residence, people are not only choosing a new home but rather a brand new lifestyle,” said deputy CEO for marketing and sales of TJH Rami Adwan.

“This project adheres to any citizen’s dream to own a house of his or her own, a dream that is becoming harder to achieve in light of the rise property prices in Amman.”

He further stated that the Ahl AL Azim project will be served with an efficient public transportation and a complete roads network. It will also include schools, medical centres, and more parks and green areas than any other residential neighborhood in Amman, entertainment centers, playing fields, shopping malls, car parks and worship places.

Positioned to be a sanctuary for comfortable and well planned living, the first phase of this project will be implemented using advanced construction methods.  Its infrastructure incorporates only the highest quality of building materials available and thermal insulation systems in the market.

TJH has recently formed an alliance with the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) and also signed an agreement with the International Engineering Consultancy Corporation for supervising construction activities and quality control over inputs of the construction activities. The city will be a modal residential development that is being developed in compliance with international standards of architectural excellence.

As part of its drive to be cost effective and to achieve economies of scale, TJH has invested in major components of the supply chain for the city which permits passing price efficiencies to end buyers.

TJH is completing the construction of a production plant in cooperation with Al Quds for Ready Mix Concrete. This production plant will specialize in the production of wooden doors, metals, aluminum and frameworks.  – TradeArabia News Service
