50pc of Marina West sold out

Manama, May 19, 2008

Marina West, Bahrain’s iconic new residential development on the West coast, has received overwhelming response from potential buyers with 50 per cent of the entire project of Marina West already sold.

So far this year from the total number of apartments on offer, approximately 95 per cent of phase 1 & phase 2 and 36 per cent of phase 3 have been sold, said a company official.

"The first sales phase comprises Towers 2, 4 and 11, and the second sales phase comprises tower 3 and tower 9, as for phase 3 it comprises tower 7 which has only recently been released for sale," said Mahmood Janahi, Marina West managing director.

"Each phase contains several apartment options in the form of one, two, three and four bedroom simplex and duplex freehold residences, as well as a number of Grand penthouse suites," he added.

“Buyers have shown the most interest thus far in the one bedroom apartments and two bedroom apartments, with 100 per cent of them sold out in three phases."

"The three bedroom apartments have also garnered enormous interest, with buyers snatching up 85 per cent of the available simplex and duplex style three bedroom apartments in all three phases. As varied as people’s tastes are, we believe that everyone can find something to suit them at Marina West,” Janahi observed.

"Purchasing a unit is made easier by the allowance of expatriate ownership, Marina West’s internal finance scheme, and the various mortgage providers we have partnered with to make buying a marina lifestyle accessible to everyone,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
