Bahrain's Pegasus Real Estate has been voted as the region's best real estate agency and the best property consultancy in marketing.

The accolades were awarded after an industry competition organised by the Arabian Property Awards, in association with Bloomberg Television.

Representatives from the company will join winners in other categories during a high-profile gala dinner at the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai on October 26 where they will be presented with their awards.

The event is part of the International Property Awards, the world's most prestigious competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe.

'The fact that we have won two of these coveted awards is proof that Bahrain is not only able to compete at this level but also triumph within the highly competitive Arabian property arena,' Pegasus Real Estate managing director Aziz Mithaiwala said.

He said later this year, top scoring winners from the Arabian Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Europe and Africa, the UK, the Americas and Asia Pacific to find the world's best in each category.

Mithaiwala said the awards were a great honour for Bahrain and the company.
