MANAMA, March 15, 2015

More than 200 companies from Bahrain and the region will display their latest products and aim to clinch supply deals with local and regional clients at an upcoming MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) forum in Bahrain.

The fourth edition of the annual Arabian MEP (Mechanical electrical plumbing) Conference and Exhibition, a construction industry show, will be held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre from April 6 to 8, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Organised by Exposure Media, and held under the patronage of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Minister Essam Khalaf, the show will highlight Bahrain and the region's promotion of green energy technologies as well as issues concerning environmental sustainability.

The event will also showcase the latest technologies in green buildings available globally and their implementation in the construction industry in the region through special seminars on trends and opportunities for businesses.

Higher energy efficiency, greener products and sustainable technologies that have accelerated the pace at which new products and innovations are launched in the market will also be the focus during the event, a gathering of professionals and experts from the HVACR (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration) industry from the region and beyond.

Spread over an area of 8,000 sq m, the event is expected to bring together around 6,500 engineers and decision-makers who will discuss the latest trends in the industry and application of green and environmentally-friendly technologies.

"As a leading show for the MEP and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) industry, Arabian MEP stands behind quality manufacturers certified for their socially responsible practices in labour, fair trade and low carbon footprint," said Exposure Media managing director Sijo Joseph

"We support sustainable methods and environmentally responsible practices with all of our partners and our core objective is to promote the most advanced equipment and technology that will help to drive the future of the Middle East's MEP market."

He said the event will focus on boosting the markets and promote quality and sustainability in the services offered.

"Experts and top professionals from the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, automation and insulation industries will offer beginners and other business persons a chance to interact with them, paving way for new and productive correlation," Joseph said.

"Live demonstrations, seminars and workshops on and by top business organisations in the respective areas will be an additional bonus for participants." – TradeArabia News Service
