Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi's leading listed property company, has launched three major new residential developments in prime areas of the emirate, including in investment zones where property can be purchased by non-UAE nationals.

The projects - West Yas, Mayan and Meera - mark the next phase of Aldar’s development plan that will enhance leading residential lifestyle communities and leisure destinations Yas Island and Shams Abu Dhabi, said a statement from Aldar.

West Yas will offer more than 1,000 premium villas on Yas Island for exclusive purchase by Emiratis.

The development is in a prime waterfront location overlooking the mangroves and offers easy access to the numerous leisure and entertainment amenities on the island, which include the F1 track at the Yas Marina Circuit, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Water World, Yas Links Golf Course and the now firmly established Yas Mall with more than 400 retail outlets.

Mayan is a contemporary-style, beachfront development located on Yas Island, which offers a mix of more than 700 residential units, including studios, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, as well as townhouses, villas and penthouses with outstanding views of the Yas Links Golf Course, the mangroves and surrounding waterfront and the Abu Dhabi skyline.

The development is centrally located on Yas Island and offers easy access to the numerous leisure and entertainment amenities on the island.

Mayan will offer residents all of the amenities of community living, including swimming pools, private gym and changing areas, schools, a mosque, children's play areas, and an elevated landscaped podium deck providing a full golf course, sea and mangrove views, said the Aldar in its statement.

Meera at Shams Abu Dhabi is an attractively designed mid-income product located on popular Al Reem Island.

The development has direct access to a family park and is within short walking distance of the planned central park, the Shams Marina and the East Shams public beach amenities.

Shams Abu Dhabi is developing as a vibrant community with successful developments such as the Gate towers, Sun and Sky towers and the Arc, said the Abu Dhabi developer.
