UAE group takes delivery of Terex all-terrain crane

ABU DHABI, May 27, 2015

Abu Nasir General Transport Establishment, a company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has taken delivery of a Terex AC 100/4L all-terrain crane.

Terex AC 100/4L is a new model launched by the US-based Terex Corporation, a lifting and material handling solutions company specialising in five segments such as aerial work platforms, construction, cranes, material handling and port solutions and materials processing.

The all-terrain crane has become the latest addition to Abu Nasir's existing fleet of 80- to 500-tonne capacity cranes.

The Abu Dhabi firm said it had selected the Terex model for its easy operation; it provides a high level of comfort, visibility and information for the operator, in addition to being the most flexible with the longest boom extensions, the company stated.

“We chose this machine for its quality and performance. At just 2.55 m wide, it’s also the most compact machine in its class, which is extremely important when working in the confined spaces of the oil and gas sector,” explained Asif Salim, the  operations manager of the heavy lifting specialist which was first established in 1980.

In the 100-tonne-capacity class and with a maximum boom length of 59.4 m and system length of 81.7 m, the AC 100/4L crane will be used throughout the UAE on heavy and complex lifts in the oil and gas industry.

“We enjoy an excellent working relationship with Terex which continues to provide us with a first-class sales and support service,” added Salim.-TradeArabia News Service
