Aldar Properties, a leading listed property development, investment and management company in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has announces that it has sold out the first phase of 267 units at Yas Acres, generating Dh1 billion ($272 million) in sales.

Impressed with the strong demand for villas on Yas Island, Aldar is now gearing up to release the second phase of units within Yas Acres for sale.

Public sales for the 125 units that make up the second phase will commence on Saturday (June 18) at Aldar’s new Yas Acres sales centre on Yas Island.

Phase Two will feature three-bedroom townhouses, three- and four-bedroom duplexes besides four-bedroom villas and five- and six-bedroom golf-front villas with prices starting from Dh2.9 million ($789,354).

Commenting on the solid response, CEO Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, said: "We are extremely pleased by the response that the first phase of Yas Acres has generated. With the launch of the second phase, we are confident that Yas Acres will be the next successful chapter in the Yas Island story which to date includes residential launches for West Yas, Ansam and Mayan."

The Abu Dhabi developer has put on display models and 3D renderings of the Yas Acres besides the architectural drawings, a film and the project’s entire masterplan at the new sales centre next to Yas Links golf course.
