Emaar to reveal building maintenance 'secrets'

DUBAI, July 18, 2017

UAE real estate developer Emaar will be sharing the best practices adopted by the company to keep all of its mega global projects 'impeccable' at this year’s Middle East Cleaning Technology Week (MECTW) in Dubai.

The region’s first global forum that unites the cleaning and hygiene industry, MECTW will be held from November 7 to 9 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Emaar, a pioneer in the development of integrated master-planned communities, is the official ‘Knowledge Sharing Partner’ at the event.

The company aims to educate industry players on the latest technologies and trends that they have adopted into their properties at an educational seminar to be held as a part of International Cleaning & Hygiene Conference (ICHC) at MECTW.

Abdulla Al Wahedi, senior director for facilities management at Emaar Properties, said: "In 2016, we launched our own FM strategy for the next five years, which is a huge achievement for us. The strategy was born from our commitment to sustaining and extending leadership in facility management through excellent service."

This Emaar partnership aims to evaluate current trends, while educating companies working within the sector on the latest market requirements to help them adapt, said the organiser of MECTW.

Emaar Properties will also discuss how with the ‘Internet of Things’ technology is now playing a vital role in the field of facility management, it added.

Since its inception in 2015, the show has brought together three expos under a single umbrella – Clean Middle East Pulire, Gulf Laundrex-Linen Care and Gulf Car Wash-Car Care.
