UAE-based Tafawuq Facilities Management has announced plans to introduce a new intelligent cleaning robot solution, as part of its cleaning equipment fleet, to help reduce costs and facilitate enhanced efficiency of operations.

A subsidiary of Eltizam Asset Management Group, Tafawuq said the introduction of this robot is part of its commitment to innovate in the field of facility management (FM) and comes following the successful roll-out of a paperless mobility maintenance solution earlier this year.

During test trials, the robot has demonstrated the ability to sweep, suck, and wash floor surfaces safely, efficiently, and promptly; ensuring employees can focus on more value adding responsibilities, stated the company.

Tafawuq is currently training its soft service staff to understand and become acquainted with the robot’s key feature which include automatic water distribution control, complete remote control, safety LED flashing lights, mechanical collection and suction, ultra-silent mode, and maintenance without the use of tools, before dispatching it to various locations, it added.
