Nshama gears up for grand Town Square Park opening

DUBAI, October 23, 2019

Nshama, a leading UAE-based private developer of integrated lifestyle communities, is all set to celebrate the opening of Town Square Park, located in the heart of its prime development, Town Square Dubai, in style on Friday (October 25).

The celebrations, which begin at 4pm onwards, will include fireworks, a parade, family-friendly and outdoor festivities, said the developer.

The park’s opening marks a unique addition to Dubai’s residential landscape and is an important milestone for Nshama, which focuses on building homes highly sought-after by families in elegantly master-planned neighbourhoods.

During the grand opening, a Fantasy Parade with 70 international artists will perform in the park at 4.30pm and 7pm. Families can choose from a variety of foodtrucks, enjoy stage shows, roaming entertainment and marvel at fireworks to mark the event, said the statement from Nshama.

For the first time, children will have access to permanent installations such as a 70-seater carousel, a kids’ train ride, a water splash park, water fountains, covered play areas and more Entertainment and activities are open to all and will be free of charge, it added.

CEO Fred Durie said: "We look forward to bringing a vibrant community together on the occasion of Town Square Park’s grand opening to the public. Conceived with the value of nature in urban life, Town Square Dubai will be home to a total of 16 community gardens in the future, an extensive network of trails for jogging, cycling and walking, spanning across hundreds of square kilometres of green spaces - making nature and outdoor living an essential aspect of Town Square’s unique offering.

Nshama said a retail precinct with open-air food and beverage (F&B) outlets, Town Square Dubai has already attracted a number of outlets such as Starbucks, Spinneys, Subway. Hardee’s, KFC, Krispy Kreme and Pizza Hut are due to complement the retail assets portfolio in the near future.

Once complete, the main square will cover an area the size of 16 football fields, also be home to a boutique hotel, cinemas and children's nurseries. The community will also have healthcare centres and schools.

Within walking distance, a recreational park boasts additional facilities for children with a trampoline park, Wave Rider, skatepark and basketball court, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
