Doosan unit delivers $2m compressors to Saudi rental firm

Doosan Bobcat, a world leader in the manufacture of compact construction machines, said one of its units, Doosan Portable Power (DPP), has delivered over $2 million worth of new portable compressors to Machinery Rental Alternatives Company (Ejar), a leading rental business based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Ejar provides customers in Saudi Arabia with exceptional short and medium-term rental solutions. With an array of products including air compressors, generators, trucks, lift trucks, cranes and welding machines, the company offers affordable, turnkey solutions for everyday rental needs.
The Doosan portable compressors have been supplied by Tamgo, the authorised dealer for DPP in Saudi Arabia, said a statement from Doosan Bobcat Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The new order is for 50 Doosan 9/235HA portable compressors each providing 23.4 cu m/min (825 cfm) of compressed air at a rated operating pressure of 8.6 bar (125 psi), said the statement.
The 9/235HA is ideal for the full range of compressed air applications from construction, rental, utilities and manufacturing to quarrying, water well drilling, sand blasting and the oil and gas industry, it stated.
Gaby Rhayem, the regional director for Middle East and Africa, said: "For this latest batch of machines worth over $2 million, Ejar again chose Doosan 9/235HA portable compressors for renewal of the company’s rental fleet."
