OBG partners with NBAD for Abu Dhabi report

Abu Dhabi, April 20, 2010

Oxford Business Group (OBG), a leading global publishing, research and consultancy firm, will once again partner with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), to produce its business guide on the emirate.

The partnership, which marks five years of successful collaboration, will see NBAD provide OBG with leading business intelligence on the financial sector from the bank’s highly regarded analysts and economists as the Group gears up to publish The Report: Abu Dhabi 2010.

Rated as the premier source of information for foreign direct investment into the economy, the report will be a vital guide to the many facets of the emirate, including its macroeconomics, infrastructure, political landscape, banking and sectoral developments.  It will also contain a wealth of interviews with high-profile personalities from business and politics, together with special features marking OBG’s five years of operations in Abu Dhabi.

“NBAD is well-placed to assist OBG in its in-depth examination of economic developments. Our respective research teams will work together closely to ensure the most up-to-date and insightful information is provided to investors upon publication,” said chief executive of NBAD Michael Tomalin.

Michelle Solomon, OBG’s country director in Abu Dhabi, said that the government’s bid to push ahead with its major infrastructure projects and development plans for the city and surrounding regions had heightened interest in the new report.

“While the financial crisis has made its presence felt, the long list of large-scale projects earmarked for Abu Dhabi City and the development of regions such as Al Ain and Al Gharbia give potential investors plenty of exciting funding options,” she said.

“The government’s plans to develop new areas of business, including the financial services sector, are well documented,” she said.-TradeArabia News Service
