Univesity hosts workshop on sales strategies

Bahrain’s Ahlia University is planning to organise an executive management training programme on “Sales Management Strategies.”
The programme will run from March 1-3 at the Mercure Grand Hotel, Seef District, Manama..
The three-day workshop aims at enhancing the knowledge and skills of marketing and sales executives in the development, implementation and control of sales plans within an integrated marketing system.
The workshop will be conducted by Professor Wesley Johnston, Professor of Marketing at Georgia State University, US.
Professor Johnston teaches in the Executive MBA program and has conducted seminars around the world on electronic marketing. He is currently the Director of the American Marketing Association’s Relationship Marketing Special Interest Group.
Professor Wesley Johnston has served as a consultant in the areas of organisational buying behavior and strategic selling: sales force designing and strategy, the marketing of professional business services and international competitive strategies.
“The workshop will offer business organisations in Bahrain and the GCC the opportunity to meet and learn from one of top international marketing experts,” said Ahlia University President Professor Abdulla Al Hawaj.
He said the workshop will be an ideal venue for the marketing and sales senior management to explore new horizons and improve their strategy building skills. – TradeArabia News Service
