Hydra Properties backs Women’s Conference

Zayed University in Dubai will be organising the Women’s Global Leaders Conference at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai.

The conference from March 10 to 12 is being held under the patronage of the Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation, Chairperson of the UAE General Women's Union and Supreme Chairperson of the Arab Women's Organisation Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak.

The conference will be attended by a large number of students from the UAE in addition to renowned international speakers and various papers will be presented as well as a large number of workshops held.

Hydra Properties, the leading UAE real estate developer, is backing this conference. “We are delighted to be associated with this conference which is contributing towards the development of women leaders on a global level. Women in the UAE have taken gigantic steps in business and political arenas. This year the conference is themed "Learning Leadership" and focuses on women's emergent and current leadership roles across the globe as well as the practice of educating students for and about leadership.

“This conference provides us with a unique opportunity to showcase to the world the mammoth achievements made by Emirati women in a very short period of time. We currently see women in many senior roles like Ministers, senior government officials, and CEO’s,” added Dr Al Fahim.

Furthermore , as an attribute to women leaders, Hydra Properties has developed Eve’s Tower, at Business Bay which stands as the first luxurious office building catering exclusively to local, regional and international businesswomen and women entrepreneurs.

Speaking at the conference will be international figures that include award-winning actress and humanitarian Jane Fonda, the Duchess of York, CEO, Advocate, Philanthropist and Author Sarah Ferguson, former Head of Unicef, CEO of World Learning, and President of the School for International Training Carol Bellamy, first female private space explorer, chairman and co-founder, Prodea Systems Anousheh Ansari, journalist and author Helen Thomas, and president, University of Michigan Mary Sue Coleman. – TradeArabia News Service
