Etisalat Academy to host Excellence Seminar

The Etisalat Academy’s eCompetency Centre is further supporting the development programme for the UAE government by hosting the second Seminar of Excellence Quest for Ministries, Authorities and Federal Government Corporations.

These seminars are helping to establish a culture for excellence amongst public sector organisations in the UAE.

This important event will define a strategic system that will be used to develop human resources and achieve institutional excellence. It will be conducted in collaboration with SHL Group UK and will take place at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai.

Over the course of the meeting, delegates will discuss three main areas regarding the importance of competencies systems as rational and scientific programmes attached to public sector strategies and useful in all steps of human resources systems including recruitment, selection, performance assessment, and development.

Head psychologist, SHL UK, James Bywater will be speaking at the seminar and will lead many of the key topics being discussed.

“This seminar comes within the chain of programmes that Etisalat Academy conducts for ministries and the government sector in order to help enhance efficiency,” said Etisalat Academy general manager Dr Doaa Fares.

“The seminar will focus on the latest practices designed to apply competencies system in national organisations.
