Emcor aids facilities management education

Emcor Facilities Services Group Ltd (EFSG) has partnered with the International College of Engineering and Management in Oman, to provide facilities management (FM) education for regional under-graduates.

Under the agreement, EFSG’s support will include sponsorship programs, work placements for students, and expert speakers, as some of its initiatives.

The program is in line with the EFSG’s objective of creating a sustainable FM model for the Middle East, and is part of EFSG’s ongoing strategy to support the development of local and regional talent for the FM industry.

The partnership aims to promote the development of local talent in the FM industry throughout the Sultanate.

In particular, this agreement will provide students the opportunity to gain first-hand experience from Emcor Facilities Services experts during seminars, and the opportunity for outstanding students to receive summer work-placement opportunities with Emcor Facilities Services throughout the Middle East.

In addition, EFSG will provide support to the College in the form of case study material, library books and awards for outstanding achievers.
