Prestige Jet sets up training dept
Abu Dhabi, February 4, 2009
Prestige Jet, one of the fastest-growing private jet company in the region, said it has established a new in-house training department for its ever-growing members of crew.
This new investment aims at maintaining the high levels of service at all times, said a top company official.
Nurdinie Mei Abdullah, group cabin crew manager at Prestige Jet said this was another first in the industry in the region for Prestige Jet.
'We constantly invest in training our people to give each and every one of our client the royal treatment they deserve while on a private flight with us.'
'With setting up our in-house training department, we ensure that the high levels of energy, enthusiasm, hospitality, responsiveness and royal treatment are extended to our customers throughout our flights,' Nurdinie remarked.
Prestige Jet, which became the first Arabian operator to have a base in Europe and the first multi-based private jet operator in the Middle East, has seen its business boom since its launch in 2007.
The company is expecting the trend to continue despite the current economic environment.
Prestige Jet today operates the largest private jet fleet in the Arab region and with orders placed for many more, Prestige Jet is expected to maintain its leadership of the sector in the region, she said.
As part of its on-going promotion of perfection in the skies, the air charter had earlier teamed up with Etiquette House to provide tailor-made training courses for the first of a new influx of cabin crew joining it.
With several new aircraft set to arrive in the coming months and plans to double its fleet in 2009, Prestige Jet is embarking on an intensive cabin crew recruitment and training programme.
“Etiquette House was selected to develop special courses designed to complement our new in-house program for our top-quality new recruits, who have been carefully selected from the crème de la crème of the cabin crew community,” Nurdinie added.-TradeArabia News Service
