Dubai , March 29, 2009

The Al Ghurair University (AGU) is jointly organising a three-day conference on business management along with International Forum of Management Scholars (Informs) at the university campus.

The 'International Conference on Technology and Business Management' (ICTBM 09), which begins today, will see top global industry experts and academicians presenting papers on key issues.

The conference is open to all professionals and students keen to further their knowledge in technology and business management. Those interested can register to attend all or part of the three parallel sessions taking place at specially reduced participation fees, said the organisers.

Prof Dr Abdurahem Mohammed Al Ameen, AGU president, said, "We are delighted to hold this annual conference this year on our premises. Such events provide an excellent opportunity to open discussions between experts from around the world leading to greater innovation in the field."

"The contributed papers are structured carefully and offer rewarding professional input to everyone, giving them a chance to fully benefit from the experience," he added.

He said the purpose of this annual conference was to provide a forum that stimulates discussion on the conference theme and topics related to it.

The conference will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration amongst scholars from academia, industry and government. It intends to build communities of interest among policy-makers and professionals and develop a basis for continuing dialogue.-TradeArabia News Service
