Gulf Air trains 22 Bahrainis from KPMG

Gulf Air has trained 22 Bahraini nationals, who had earlier completed their Supply Chain Management (SCM) training programme with KPMG Bahrain.

The trainees were given a 40-hour industry orientation programme in various divisions of the airline's procurement department giving them a real-world industry experience.

'Gulf Air has the expertise and expert trainers, who can prepare such candidates with necessary skills to face the real world,' said Gulf Air senior manager Corporate Training & Employee Development Sohair Khalfan.

On completion of the full training with KPMG, the candidates will be awarded a Certificate in Purchasing & Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply UK. The training is provided by Tamkeen, in association with KPMG Fakhro and Bahrain Institute of Retail & Development (Bird).-TradeArabia News Service
