Kidville plans 10 new centres in UAE

Dubai, May 17, 2011

Kidville UAE, the unique early childhood development franchise from New York, is embarking on an UAE expansion spree with plans for 10 new facilities by 2015.

The expansion strategy marks its beginning with the opening of two new facilities in Dubai at Motorcity's Fox Hill Shopping Center (Fox Hill 9, near party center) on May 22 and at Uptown Mirdiff Grand Piazza on June 5.

Commenting on the expansion, Monica Malhotra, managing director, Kidville UAE said, "Our first location in JBR has received an incredible reception from parents and children living in JBR and the surrounding neighborhoods."

"We speak to parents across the UAE everyday and so many have encouraged us to open a Kidville in their neighborhood. This heart-warming response has given us the confidence and determination to do just that - starting with Motor City and Uptown Mirdiff," Malhotra remarked.

Doug MacLennan, managing director, said Kidville UAE has adopted the 'hub and spoke' model wherein facilities ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 sq ft are designed to offer one-stop shop services to parents such as a children's salon or large retail space with the latest fashions and toys.

"Besides this there will be Kidville classes, birthdays, camps, indoor, as well as, outdoor play spaces, and special events for families. This is no small feat and we are looking at an investment of $500,000 - 900,000 per facility," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
